Scam education/awareness is one of the best (if not the best) ways to prevent consumers from being defrauded by scammers; it equips the consumer to act as a fraud fighter. The challenge becomes how the education and awareness can reach those vulnerable to certain types of scams. If various industries and people groups can be more proactive in this, fewer individuals will be scammed.
This presentation focuses on engaging various groups to properly address specific scams. These groups can include companies, clubs, organizations, affiliations, etc. Only a few scams will be exemplified. The challenge to the reader is to think on specific groups they are a part of and connect scam education/awareness with those groups.
